WINNERS OF THE 2013 K12 POSTER CONTEST
ITS encouraged students from all over the state to participate in the 2013 Cyber Security Awareness Poster Contest and had over 100 submissions for the State of Mississippi contest. Three finalists were chosen from each age group (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) to be sent on to then national competition.
The winners represented the following schools:
K-5: All 3 winners were from Buckatunna School
Grades K-5 State of MS Winning Posters
6-8: All 3 winners were from Itawamba Attendance Center

9-12: All 3 winners were from Hinds County Career and Technical Center

ITS is excited to announce that a poster submission from a 5th grade student of Buckatunna School was chosen as one of the thirteen national competition winners. These thirteen entries will appear in a 2014 calendar distributed nationally this fall by the MS-ISAC as part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, recognized each October. The entries may also be used in national, regional and state computer security awareness campaigns.
