GOVERNOR REEVES PROCLAIMS OCTOBER AS
2023 CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS MONTH
Governor Tate Reeves signed a proclamation designating October as 2023 Cybersecurity Awareness Month. The State of Mississippi recognizes that it plays a vital role in identifying, protecting its citizens from, and responding to cybersecurity threats that may have a significant impact on our individual and collective safety and privacy.
This marks 20 years of Cybersecurity Awareness Month in October. #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth is a collaboration between the government and private industry to empower everyone to protect their personal data from digital forms of crime.
