WINNERS OF THE 2014 K12 POSTER CONTEST
ITS encouraged students from all over the state to participate in the Cyber Security Awareness Poster Contest and had over 100 submissions for the State of Mississippi contest. Winning posters were chosen from each age group (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) to be sent on to the national competition.
The State of Mississippi winners represented the following schools:
K-5: The winner was from Waynesboro Elementary School
Grades K-5 State of MS Winning Poster
6-8: The winners were from Waynesboro Middle School and Pontotoc Middle School
Grades 6-8 State of MS Winning Posters
9-12: All 3 winners were from Wayne County High School
Grades 9-12 State of MS Winning Posters
ITS is excited to announce that a poster submission from an 8th grade student of Pontotoc Junior High School was chosen as one of the thirteen national competition winners. These thirteen entries will appear in a 2015 calendar distributed nationally this fall by the MS-ISAC as part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, recognized each October. The entries may also be used in national, regional and state computer security awareness campaigns.
