Congratulations to Roger Graves on receiving Life membership in National Association of State Technology Directors (NASTD). Life membership is an honor bestowed upon individuals for years of meritorious service and outstanding commitment to the professional organization.
Roger Graves serves as the Chief Operations Officer for the Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services. Roger has more than 20 years of telecommunications experience, beginning his career as a telecommunications specialist for the U. S. Army Intelligence and Security Command. Roger began his career in state government in 1991, serving as the Voice Service Manager for the Central Data Processing Authority. In 1994, his responsibilities shifted to supporting a statewide data and video education network initiative, as well as creating and managing Mississippi's first statewide compressed video network dedicated to distance learning and teacher career development. In 2002, Roger assumed his current role with a focus on network efficiencies and unified communications. Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Mississippi College. He has been an active member in NASTD since 1992.
