State agencies, city and county governments, and educational institutions attended the 3rd Annual Cybersecruity Summit on October 13th at the Mississippi e-Center at JSU!
National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) – celebrated every October - was created as a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure every American has the resources they need to become safer and more secure online.
Since its inception under leadership from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance, NCSAM has grown exponentially, reaching consumers, small and medium-sized businesses, corporations, educational institutions and young people across the nation. This year marks the 13th year of National Cyber Security Awareness Month.
Mississippi will also be joining the rest of the nation in celebrating Cyber Security Awareness Month. Phil Bryant, Governor of the State of Mississippi, has proclaimed the month of October 2016 as Cyber Security Awareness Month: http://bit.ly/2dcM2FL
